Furniture Perspective

A piece of furniture is something unique that must respond to the specific needs of each client and integrate with your space a true harmony. For the team of designer João Andrade e Silva, memories and experiences must always be translated into any space or environment.

When talking about pieces of furniture nowadays to a greater predisposition of technicians, consultants or users to choose for pieces of furniture robust and modern or on the other hand, who does not abdicate of a piece full of history and personality. With regard to our vision, the most difficult part is to know how to interconnect these "two worlds" and to combine the past with the present, always responding to the specific needs of each client as each house / space is a different environment.

In this way, what we seek to clarify and realize, is a bridge between tradition and the contemporary by the subtle choice of materials and textures, colors, finishes, volumes and geometries.

So we will share our ideas with you:

Conjugation of ancient and modern furniture

Nowadays, there is much the idea that the old furniture is more resistant pieces, expensive but little appealing and in contrast the modern furniture is aesthetically more beautiful, more economic and less resistant.

Not everything is as linear as it seems and everything is not as clear as it is. With the entrance of large supermarkets on the market this is the most common idea because several pieces of furniture are produced in large quantities.

The trick is this: "We do not want to say that what is wrong is buying modern or old pieces, because once again it will depend on the predisposition of your space and your tastes. But notice that often the conjugation of these two worlds returns to be relatively differentiating and appealing. The great trick is that sometimes in the little things that we are not giving value, we can make really appealing and unique pieces.

As suggestions we want to leave you the following:

- They must always adopt for conjugating old pieces with your contemporary space because they are the ones who will translate the experiences into your space; (There are furniture with many years of life but still still in vogue);

- Resistance is all too often about the care that movables suffer over time;

- Your environment should translate your sensations, experiences, personalization, but on top of everything should be comfortable and ergonomic.

- Lastly, the simple is the most complex ...
